TDP Boss Wants To Control Congress Through Money Power

NTR must be turning in his grave today! The TDP's hookup with the Congress is now open and complete. After four decades of strident anti-Congress politics, the TDP has joined hands with the very same Congress that it has always opposed. The way Chandrababu Naidu has embraced the Congress is downright shameful for may old timers.
However, sources say that Chandrababu Naidu's a bigger game plan in joining hands with the Congress. The Congress Party today is starved of funds. Time was when it ruled many states and was flush with funds. Today, the Congress is finding it very difficult to support its candidates financially. Chandrababu Naidu, who is aware of this, has reportedly offered financial support to the Congress during the Gujarat and Karnataka elections. In Karnataka elections, it had even sent TDP workers and government employees to actively campaign against the BJP. Now there are reports that the TDP has agreed to support the Congress Party in Telangana. It will not just fund the candidates, but also provide three helicopters to the Congress leaders. It is because of this that the Congress has agreed to enter into an alliance with the TDP. The TDP wants to gradually guide and control the Congress. The Thursday meeting of Chandrababu Naidu in Delhi is aimed at bringing regional parties together. But, the real objective is to use these parties to control the weak and emaciated Congress Party.
