Saiva shrines overflowing with Shivanamasmarana

Mahashivaratri celebrations are in full swing in Vemulawada, also known as South Kashi. Devotees visit Rajarajeswaraswamy in the early morning. The visit takes about three hours. The temple premises are transformed with the remembrance of Lord Shiva. Under the auspices of TTD, Tirumala Tirupati Temple Chairman YV Subbareddy Satyamani Swarnalatha Reddy, Temple JEO Lakshmaiah and IG family members presented silks to Swami. The temple priests and officials welcomed Poornakumbh. Vemulawada said he felt lucky to visit Rajarajeswaraswamy on Shivratri day. Devotees are constantly making darshan in the background of the crowd of devotees. Overview with the corona effect is prohibited. Authorities took armed action to keep the devotees out of trouble. A special darshan will be held for the Shivas from 4 pm to 5 pm. Mahalingarchana will be held at Swami's Kalyana Mantapa from 6 pm to 8 pm. Mahanyasa Purvaka Ekadasa Rudrabhishekam is celebrated by 11 Rutviks from 11.35 pm to 3.30 am on Friday.
