Former minister and YSR Congress MLA Kodali Venkateswara Rao alias Nani challenged Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to go for elections without taking the names of NTR and Chiranjeevi.

He criticised Pawan Kalyan as an immature and politically ignorant person. He alleged that Pawan Kalyan was speaking in support of Chandrababu Naidu after collecting the package from the TD. Objecting to the claim of Pawan making AP ‘YSRC and Jagan-free’ in the coming elections, Nani said there was no chance for the claim but Jana Sena and TD would vanish from AP due to people’s anguish.

Nani participated in the Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhuthvam organised in Gudivada 10th Ward on Tuesday. Speaking to the media on the occasion, Nani said Pawan Kalyan and Chandrababu could not win a single MLA seat in the elections without using the names of NTR and Chiranjeevi. He commented that even Chandrababu would not win as an MLA in the next elections.


Nani claimed that Jagan Mohan Reddy gave a lot of respect to cine actor Chiranjeevi by inviting him for lunch and honouring him as a senior person in the Telugu film industry. He refuted allegations of Pawan Kalyan about insulting Chiranjeevi by Jagan Mohan Reddy. He ridiculed that TD and JS candidates would not get deposits in the elections if they shunned usage of NTR and Chiranjeevi names. He termed Pawan as Datta Putrudu (adopted son) of Naidu and said Pawan got a place for his party’s state office at Mangalagiri as a gift from TD.
