Telangana police arrest suspected Islamic State recruit from Hyderabad airport

Hyderabad: A Hyderabad-based engineer was arrested on Friday by the Telangana police for alleged links with the terror group Islamic State.
According to reports the 22-year-old Salman Moinuddin, a resident of Habib Nagar in Hyderabad confessed to the police that he was going to join the Islamic State.
Moinuddin, a US-return with a Master of Science degree did not get a direct visa to Syria, for which he was travelling to Dubai and later to Syria via Turkey.
Moinuddin was arrested today morning from Shamshabad International airport based on intel reports.
