PM should have apologised to state: Ponnam Prabhakar

The Congress said on Sunday that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, should have apologised on Saturday for previously saying that Telangana was created with the Parliament doors shut.
At a joint press conference held at Gandhi Bhavan, former MPs Ponnam Prabhakar, Balram Naik, Anjan Kumar Yadav, Sircilla Rajaiah and Suresh Kumar Shetkar said the BJP leaders should be ashamed for Modi’s remarks made earlier this year. “They should undergo a DNA test to ascertain if they are from Telangana,” the MPs said.
“Everyone knows that Telangana was formed with the majority of parties supporting it, including the BJP,” they said.
