The internal rift in the TRS in Gadwal district led to party Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishnamohan Reddy holding the collar of the principal of Government BC Residential School on Tuesday over alleged protocol violation.

MLA Reddy and zilla parishad chairperson Saritha were invited for the inauguration of the school. However, the event was over prior to the arrival of MLA.

This angered MLA Krishnamohan Reddy who took the principal. When the official was trying to explain that Saritha had inaugurated the school on her own, the MLA held the principal by his collar and pushed him away.


The MLA and the ZP chairperson are at loggerheads, trying to gain the political upper hand in the constituency. Later the MLA clarified that the incident was accidental and he had no intention to attack or insult government staff.
