Supreme Court extends Jayalalithaa’s bail till 18th April 2015

New Delhi: The Supreme Court on Thursday extended the bail given to AIADMK chief J. Jayalalithaa in a disproportionate assets case till April 2015, and directed the Karnataka High Court to set up a special bench which will conduct hearing on a daily basis and dispose of her appeal within three months.

The Supreme Court had on October 17 granted bail to the former Tamil Nadu chief minister and imposed conditions, including that she file the paperbook of her appeal in the HC within two months. She has complied with the conditions of the top court.
