Hyderabad: Ministers are bracing up for their first Cabinet meeting after former Deputy Chief Minister Dr T. Rajaiah was sacked for ignoring the spread of swine flu and indulging in corruption besides minor reshuffle of some portfolios.

Sources said Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has a big agenda for ongoing welfare and developmental projects besides, swine flu which rattled the state and cost Rajaiah his job. The CM is also likely to give a stern warning to ministers to observe restraint while commenting on various issues, especially government schemes that are to be credited to government and not make individual claims. Corruption will also be top on agenda, it is learnt.

Rumours are agog in corridors of power that the CM had pulled up three ministers Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, Jagdish Reddy and Pocharam Srinivas Reddy for comments on welfare schemes and actions. However, their followers denied it.

The CM plans to take stock of the progress of government schemes and ask for report from all the ministers pertaining to their departments.
