New Delhi: BJP’s chief ministerial candidate, Kiran Bedi, broke down on Wednesday while addressing an election rally in New Delhi.
An emotional Bedi said, “This is the love of the people and I don't have words to express.”
"I am going to return the love. The government will be giving back the love. The government will work honestly and serve the people," said former police officer.
Bedi is contesting from Krishna Nagar, which is considered as a safe seat for BJP.
The elections for the 70-member Delhi Assembly will be held in a single phase on February 7. The counting of votes will take place on February 10. The last day of campaigning is February 5.
