50 women to get taxis at 35 per cent subsidy

Hyderabad: The Telangana government will implement and monitor the SHE taxi scheme.
A G.O was issued in this regard on Friday, wherein orders were issued to constitute a panel. The panel will release an advertisement to select 50 women drivers from Hyderabad and
Cyberabad to be provided SHE taxis at 35 per cent subsidy. The order said if all the drivers are not found in Hyderabad, some candidates could be selected from neighbouring districts.
